Reviewed on November 7, 2008The Belkin N+ Wireless Router is a great performer with excellent range and throughput speed. If its bulky design and lack of 5GHz frequency support don't put you off, the router is worth every penny of its $100 or so price tag.TAGS:Belkin Corp., router, IP address, Linksys, IP, port, USB, hard drive, server

Reviewed on March 24, 2006If you don't need extended range from a router, the Linksys WRT54GX2 is a good choice if you want to take advantage of MIMO technology but can't afford the hefty price. Reviewed on December 16, 2005The Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO Router offers features similar to those of the Belkin Pre-N router but with slower performance. On the upside, it's also less expensive.TAGS:MIMO, Belkin Corp., router, DMZ, antenna, QoS, chipset, firewall, multimedia
Reviewed on July 20, 2006Though inconsistent, the D-Link N 650 router performed admirably overall compared to its Draft N competition. Still, we are unimpressed with how it measures up to the promise of 802.11n. Pass on this for now; in fact, pass on all Draft N routers until the spec is finalized.TAGS:D-Link Systems, router, IEEE 802.11n, SSID, spec, WEP, WPA, adapter, Belkin Corp., broadcasting, firmware, CD
Reviewed on April 24, 2006Though it offers good maximum throughput, the Linksys WRT300N ultimately fails to do the new Draft N standard proud in both mixed-mode and long-range tests. Wait to see how the rest of the Draft N products fare.TAGS:Linksys, router, Netgear, antenna, throughput, MIMO, Belkin Corp., CD
Reviewed on July 10, 2002Its ease of use, good performance, excellent security features, and low price make the DI-614+ a strong candidate for home and office use--but its limited range and strict warranty requirements pull it up short of perfection.TAGS:D-Link Systems, router, DSL, wireless router, wireless broadband, Belkin Corp., Netgear
Reviewed on May 12, 2006If you have to have the fastest short-range router immediately, the WRT54GX4 is a good choice. But if you need a good long-range or mixed-mode performer, you're better off looking at the Belkin Pre-N router (the long-range champ).TAGS:Linksys, Netgear, router, Belkin Corp., Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, modem, broadband, adapter, PC
