Quick Take: Most of Excel 2003's enhancements relate to file formats. Excel now supports the XML file format, making it easier for organizations to collect, analyze, and share data. Smart Tags, introduced in Office XP, can now be associated with specific data ranges and appear only when the user places the mouse over them.
