Don't even bother.

Pros: They look pretty neat.
Cons: Adaptor needs to be purchased seperately, explodes batterys, cruddy sound, battery door won't close... and the list goes on... and on.... and on....

Summary: Upon opening these, the first thing you notice is that there's no AC adaptor, which you 100% NEED if you ever intend to actually use these for more than a paperweight. I crammed the required AA batteries into the un-marked chamber hoping I'd gotten it right, only to find out that the battery door COULD not be replaced with the batteries inside.
Alright, time to listen to some music.
I couldn't believe that, even with the 'acoustic chambers' at full extention, the amplification system on, and my computer fine-tuned to them, that the batteries were working, the sound was SO tinny and distorted. Upon removing the batteries though the sound was reduced to little more than a whisper, even with all THREE of my volumes maxed out.
Long and short of it is, they aren't worth it, get some headphones instead.
