The good: Great print quality; decent print speeds; two input sources; memory card slots and PictBridge port; manual control of photo edits.
The bad: PictBridge port doesn't support storage devices; slowish scan speeds; control panel doesn't offer an easy way to transfer images from a memory card to your PC.
The bottom line: The Canon Pixma MP520 doesn't offer all the bells and whistles found on other budget all-in-ones, but it's a solid device that does the basics right while delivering best-in-class quality.
