  Excellent Monitor

  Pros: One of HP's best. The 2159m stands out above the rest based on image quality, brightness, contrast, clarity, sharpness, and style. Great Monitor

  Summary: I recently decided to buy a second monitor to go along with my HP w1707 and I was also trying to decide between the w2207h and the 2159m. I shopped around for a while at various local stores and this one was by far the best in its class for overall value and quality. I've had the monitor for about a week and it looks great especially when using the HDMI input. I've got both the 2159m and a hp w1707 hooked up to my laptop and the 2159m worked right out of the box with very little image calibration required. A few weeks ago newegg had a special on the w2207h and after reading all the reviews I almost bought it, but it was defiantly worth waiting to see in person and I think a lot of people are going to have buyers remorse when they see the 2159m. Both are very good monitors but between the two the 2159m is hands down superior to the w2207h, especially considering that I was able to get it from Brandsmart for $210.00 ($40.00 less than the w2207h).

  Fantastic monitor for great price!!

  Pros: Awesome design. HP has continued to master the look and feel of their products. Outstanding picture and color quality. High-definition capable. Already assembled, just plug it in. Unbelievably low price for this quality and size monitor.

  Cons: Has great tilt and rotate features, but less of an up-down adjustment than my past HP flat-panel. While I could put something under it, I simply lower my office chair an inch or two.

  Summary: This is by far the best computer monitor I've owned. While I am not a hardcore gamer, I do Web design and Flash production, so I need a quality monitor. The colors are rich and deep and, combined with a decent graphics card (I upgraded that, too) I cannot imagine a better monitor for the price. I bought this at Fry's for $209, but saw it on sale at $199. Even it's full retail price of $239 on HP's site is a great bargain for this high-quality monitor. Better yet, I noticed (*at the time of this typing) that if you're buying an HP desktop or laptop, they drop the monitor price down to $139. I highly recommend the HP 2159m monitor. An outstanding product with an unbeatable price for the quality. I've had it a month and still enjoy walking into my home office and just looking at it. One of the best purchases I've made in years. Thank you HP.
