The good: Compact; lightning fast prints; overall good text quality; multipurpose input tray is convenient; low per-page costs; 24-7 tech support.

The bad: Encountered a major, reproducible text error; graphics quality needs improvement; expensive relative to some of the competition.

The bottom line: The HP P2015dn has the right features to make it a good fit for a small office or home office, but the competition offers a better printer for less money.

Description: The HP Laserjet P2015X is a 26 ppm, monochrome workgroup laser printer. Compared to other monochrome workgroup lasers on the market, it is relatively inexpensive at around $500. This unit prints at 1200dpi.

Pros: Only measuring 14" x14" x14", this printer is compact and easy to fit into a small office. This product also supports duplex printing, which allows you to print on both sides of a page in a single pass. The printerÂ’s 400 MHz processor allows the printer to transform a complex document into its printed form faster, speeding up printing.

Cons: Even with optional paper trays installed, this printer only has a capcity of 550 sheets total capacity, which is less than some similarly priced lasers.

Suitability: A monochrome workgroup laser printer, suited for high volume document printing. This printer is capable of accepting pages up to A4 (8.25 in x 11.7 in) and legal (8.5 in x 14 in).

Value: In general, this laser printer's features are as expected for this price.
