The good: Built-in duplexer; great print quality; swift speeds; quiet operation; compact form; Windows and Mac compatible.
The bad: Networking and additional paper tray cost extra.
The bottom line: A great little monochrome laser printer, it offers fine output, duplexing, and a tight footprint that lets it fit right into any business, school, or home office.
Description:
The HP Laserjet 1320 is a 21 ppm, monochrome workgroup laser printer.
Compared to other monochrome workgroup lasers on the market, it is relatively inexpensive at around $530.
This unit features 1200dpi.
Pros:
At the small size of 14" x14" x10", this printer is easy to use in a small office.
Capable of connecting to a computer with a USB port, this printer also has a parallel port for older systems.
This printer is capable of double-sided, or duplex, printing.
Cons:
Only prints at 21 ppm speed.
This is not out of line with the product's price, but is slower than the average laser printer on the market today.
With a capacity of only 250 sheets, this printer will not last as long between refills as most of its competitors.
Suitability:
A monochrome workgroup laser printer, suited for high volume document printing.
This printer can handle legal (8.5 in x 14 in) and A4 (8.25 in x 11.7 in) documents.
Value:
In general, this laser printer's features are as expected for this price.
