Although CNET did not review the 42-inch JVC LT-42X788, we did review the 47-inch JVC LT-47X788. Judging from their spec sheets, the two JVC flat-panel LCD HDTVs are identical but for screen size, so we expect the picture quality of the 47-inch model to provide a good indication of how the 42-incher will perform.
