We have not reviewed the Pioneer PDP-4280HD, but we have reviewed the 50-inch version. We expect the two to deliver similar picture quality. Aside from screen size, the main difference between the two panels is that the 42-inch model does not have a detachable speaker; its speaker is fixed.

We have not reviewed the Pioneer PDP-4280HD, but we have reviewed the 50-inch version. We expect the two to deliver similar picture quality. Aside from screen size, the main difference between the two panels is that the 42-inch model does not have a detachable speaker; its speaker is fixed. Also, the 42-inch version has a lower
native resolution, 1,024x768 vs. 1,366x768, but we don't expect that to have a significant impact on performance. For more details, check out our
