Awesome Case!!

Pros: 200mm Fan and 3 120mm fans does makes a difference!

Summary: When I first bought this case, I was in doubt thinking it is just another fancy case that wouldn't keep your system cool. Boy was I wrong!! I had the Thermaltake case which has 8 80mm fans on it and running on a AMD Althon 64 X2. This case (ThermalTake) didn't keep my system cool enough for me to be happy about it, here are the results:
ThermalTake Case: Ide: 42 C Load: 52 C
Antec Nine Hundred Case: Idle: 29 C Load 42 C
As you can see those 200mm and 120mm fans makes a difference compared to those 8 80mm fans! The only thing I have to gripe about it was setting up!! It took me 5 hours to install all my components to this case!! I built custom computer for a living and by far this is the longest one I ever had to spend time on! The power supply is mounted on the bottom vs on top on standard cases. All in all, it is well worth the money since it does
keep your system cool! This is a afforable way to keep your system cool without having to spend too much money on a watercooled system. The most suprising part about the Antec Nine Hundred Gaming case is the it looks so big but yet really light!! Compared to my old Thermaltake case, that monster weights about 30 lbs!! Well I hope this reviews help you on your decision on buying this case or not.7 out of 7 users found this user opinion helpful.

Awesome Case!
by djmaxentropy on June 12, 2008
Pros: LOTS of space, massive airflow potential, front facing/easy accessible usb and audio jacks, quiet, 3 speed settings for all fans
Cons: side fan not included

Summary: This case is fantastic-- the 3 speed fan settings allow you to control how much air you shoot through the case and also how much noise it makes! I also love the customizable front fans/drivebays in which you can swap out in order to better suit your custom pc configuration. The huge 120mm fan up top really moves air near the CPU. Really wish this came with another small 90mm fan for the side to remove some more air near the graphics card (where my pc tends to get the hottest.)
Overall, great case for the money, I'd definitely buy again but I've had my case for a few years now and it's still going hard! Highly recommended!1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

Great Case
by ryank82 on October 21, 2008
Pros: Tons of ventilation. Huge top fan. Great looking as well. Top storage bin for mp3 player, wallet etc...
Cons: Can be loud with all fans humming. Dust MAGNET! I have to clean it frequently.

Summary: Overall for the money spent, I think Its a great case. Tons of ventilation and more then enough room for most. Has a top holding spot for your mp3 player, wallet or any small device. Quite a few fans come standard. Blue led's are a nice touch.Only downside I found at all was because of all the fans this case draws lots of dust. I keep it on my desk and still have to clean it like once a week.

Suprb gaming case--very good cooling!!
by Starving Artist on June 14, 2008
Pros: everything runs very cool--looks great--inexpensive.
Cons: case cables a bit short--a bit tight inside.

Summary: I love this case--my CPU--an e6850 is running at 18c to 22c idle, and 34c max at load. I took the load temp running Orthos CPU stress test for an hour or so.I had various tech people saying they wished they could get such low temps. Playing Crysis, My EVGA 9800GTX runs at around 45c-50c with fan at max, which I think is also really good for this card. I installed a fan controller in the case,(highly recommended IMO) and so can turn fans down when I want--with all fans at max it's kind of loud (I added a 120mm to the windowed side panel), but when gaming with headphones I do hear it at all. When I turn them down it is a very acceptable noise level.
Also, this case looks very nice--with some modding down the line it will look awesome.
Cons--A couple of the case cables were kind of short, as they had to stretch over the monster sized 9800GTX--of course this may vary depending on mianboard used--I have an EVGA780i. Also, 9800GTX size cards using the lower two PCI-e slots will interfere with HDD's in the lower HDD cage, at least with my 780i board. SLI will be no problem, but it looks like If I wanted to go Tri-SLI, I would be limited to a max of 2 HDD's.To me this is not an issue, but might be for others.
In summary--really awesome case--very glad I bought this one!! -

Summary: Very happy with this case loosk great and keeps system very cool with minimal noise. I love the fact that the power supply is on the bottom yet it is still an ATX case. All systems should be setup like this so as the air heats up it rises from the PSU unit passes over the components and out the top through the massive Fan.. Gotta Love this case!

Awesome Gaming Case
by Demandread on January 13, 2008
Pros: Easy Install, Amazing Air Cooling, Pleanty of Room, Great Look
Cons: Case cables reached everything on the mother board but barley, longer cabling would not have hurt

Summary: The Antec 900 is an awesome gaming case! I built my system using a 680 Nvidia SLI motherboard, 2.4 Ghz Quad Core Processor, and a Nvidia 8800 GTS 640 MG Video Card.
The install was simple. The instructions where very straight forward and I had no problems putting all of the components together. Some of the case cables could have been a bit longer... everything reached the mother board, but just barely.
The case has tons of room... while the new nvidia cards are huge it fit into this case no problem. It also offers plenty of room for Hard Drives, and I have no doubt that this case would be able to support an SLI setup.
Finally, the case offers amazing air cooling. It comes with 3 80 mm fans and a huge 240 mm fan on top. You can also put your own 120 mm fan on the side if you wish. I have never seen a case that offers this kind of air flow... certainly top notch. I would highly recommend this one. -
SUPER GAMING CASE
by snoopysowner on July 22, 2007
Pros: Air Cooled. Power supply on the bottom . Removable drive cages with 3 speed fans.
Cons: Only 3 external bays. Fan speed adjustment cable too short.

Summary: I build ALL my computers everyone in my family (wife and five (5) children) almost everyone has their own (no fighting over computer time). This case is for MY gaming rig.
I do not like the idea of water and electronics and this case does an EXCELLENT job of keeping my components cool with all the fans on low. My twin WD 74G raid makes more noise!
The label on my Enermax Galaxy PS is not upside down as it would have been if mounted in the top! A real plus for a windowed case.
I use all three external bays (DVD/CD rom DVD/CD RW and a DigiDoc 5)and I have to go without a floopy drive or use an external. NOT a major issue.
The fan speed cables are TOO short all the cabling buries them. Put a plastic wire tie (preferable a color other then black) on them before routing your cable. Then you can easily locate the switch at a later date.
The back of my case does not look like the pictures online. The louvered area has been replaced with two(2) round plastic grommets. I guess to allow for external cables if needed there is nothing in the manuals about them.
Overall I am very pleased. Looking forward to getting into some gaming.
