The Magellan RoadMate 2000 is an entry-level portable navigation system that offers all the navigation basics, including text- and voice-guided turn-by-turn directions, a comprehensive points-of-interest database, and automatic route recalculation. The compact device comes preloaded with Navteq maps of the United States and features a 3.5-inch touch screen. It will available in mid-September for an affordable $399.
