If you're on the hunt for a good spyware remover, Trend Micro is a solid choice with some extra features that make it an even sweeter deal. A clean and simple interface makes it easy to understand how to use the program right away, and extensive help is only a click away when anything is not immediately apparent. The scan time for this tool is among the fastest in our tests, and malware threats are identified and removed with ease. We like the added features for cleaning your Web cache and cookies. The document shredder for files you want permanantly deleted is another nice touch. This program also features a real-time detection feature called Venus Spy Trap that alerts you to threats as they try to connect, but we found it to be a bit of a memory hog--though perhaps that's the price you pay for full protection. Overall, we think Trend Micro Anti-spyware would make a good second choice (we recommend two) for your antispyware arsenal.

Pros: it has one of the most valuable spyware definition, therfor it finds ALOT of infected iteams that other spy application software doesnt find.

"Fast Scan - Thorough Protection"
Pros: I have an arsenal of antispyware apps, and so I thought my machine was clean.
The Venus Spy Trap offers solid real time protection also, and it has already come in handy a few times.
I have only been evaluating this for a week now, and so far I am very impressed. If it keeps it up I am going to buy it.
Cons: The Spy Trap monitors can be a little heavy on CPU usage, but only for brief periods, and so I think it is worth it.
The scanner/remover alone is worth the price anyway.

Pros: After Counterspy period Trend Micro found almost 100 parasites. And it doesn't eat resources.
Cons: Nobody's perfect.
