Pros: This DVD player is equipped with a progressive scanning feature, capable of delivering higher-quality video images to compatible televisions. Capable of playing multiple types of recordable and rewritable discs, this unit can handle more types of media that most DVD players. This player is relatively slim at a height of 1.5 in. Like most other DVD players, this unit features JPEG playback, which allows you to view digital photos (stored on a CD) on your television.

Cons: This player lacks DTS output capability, so it will not play back DTS soundtracks.

Suitability: Built for watching movies and/ or listening to music.

Value: Given its very inexpensive price, this DVD player has great features for the money.
