The good: Attractive design; touch pad and LCD built into keyboard for displaying basic information; excellent mouse with programmable buttons.

The bad: Keyboard and computer interactions can experience some lag; mouse for right-handed use only; hot keys and media control buttons are too small; LCD lacks a backlight; not Mac compatible.

The bottom line: The attractive Logitech Cordless Desktop MX5000 Laser features flashy new technology, but its few flaws keep it from being our favorite desktop set.
