The good: Unique design; USB-powered.

The bad: Poor sound quality; no headphone jack; no volume knob.

The bottom line: The LaCie USB speakers are too expensive for a niche product that places style over substance. The speakers look fancy and will undoubtedly attract attention...until you actually hear them.
