Best rear projection HDTVs
When you want to go big, nothing beats a rear-projector. These giant boxes have gotten less boxy over the last couple of years, but they still provide the most screen real estate for your buck. All of the ones on this list incorporate microdisplay technology such as DLP, LCD, and LCoS for sharper, brighter images than CRT. All are wide-screen, for that great cinematic picture, and our list includes 50-inch sets all the way up to 65-inch behemoths.
