The good: Handy remote control; built-in 1.5GB hard drive; connects directly to cameras, digital media, and (optionally) Bluetooth devices; compact; easy to operate; Mac and Windows compatible.

The bad: Color cast in neutrals; image artifacts.

The bottom line: The HP Photosmart 475 is a portable snapshot printer with sufficient useful features to distract from its ho-hum quality.
