Ok, so you're trying to get your psp to access the internet!
There are some requirements first:
1. You need to have the correct PSP firmware installed on your PSP there are many tutorials floting around CNET and Google on how to do this, just google "PSP firmware upgrade."
2. You need to have a wireless router also known as an access point for wireless internet! Or you need to be within reach of someone elses wireless router! No router = No Connection, = No wireless connection on your PSP it won't matter how many times you scan.
3. You need to know the SSID of the network you are trying to connect to. Now...put simply, a SSID is the name that the wireless router is using for your wireless network. To find this out using your laptop/pc, Click START->CONTROL PANEL->NETWORK CONNECTIONS-> right click your wireless network and click properties. Click the wireless network tab and it should display the most recently used wireless networks names aka the "SSIDs." This is the name you'll want to put into your PSP when it prompts your for a SSID.
