L2TP
Layer Two Tunneling Protocol
An extension to the protocol that enables Internet service providers to operate virtual private networks (VPNs). It combines two secure communications protocols: Cisco Systems' Layer Two Forwarding (L2F) and Microsoft's Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP).
