The best GameCube games for your Wii

Will Greenwald

You finally got your brand-new Wii, and it's pretty sweet. But you've played Wii Sports to death, you beat Twilight Princess and WarioWare, and you already know every Virtual Console game by heart. So now what? Until the next must-have title comes out, it's time to pop open that top flap and plug in your GameCube controller. The Wii is backward-compatible with GameCube games, and there are plenty to choose from. Here are some of the best exclusive titles Nintendo's previous console had. They're all pretty inexpensive, too; most of these games can be found in your local bargain bin. These classics also offer some great prep work for when their sequels come out later this year. Twilight Princess is already out, but Super Paper Mario, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and even an unnamed LucasArts Star Wars title are heading to the Wii. No word on an Eternal Darkness sequel, but it's still an awesome horror game every M-rated gamer needs to play.
