The best Xbox 360-compatible Xbox games

The PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii can play all (or nearly all) the titles designed for the most recent Sony and Nintendo consoles, respectively. But the Xbox 360 handles the backwards compatibility issue a bit differently. The 360 will play some--but not all--of the games available on the original Xbox. It uses emulator software which Microsoft updates every few months, adding a smattering of additional titles with each new release. As a result, the 360 probably won't ever have full compatibility with the previous console's library, and the games may not play exactly as they did on Xbox1 hardware. So, the list of 250 or so games is doubly daunting--not only do you have to worry if a game's on there, you also have to wonder if it'll play well. With that in mind, we've picked the 6 best original Xbox games (actually, one is a three-pack, so it's technically 8) that are playable on the Xbox 360 without major problems.
