For a long time, the Palm Treo reigned as the godfather of smartphones. It could be argued that their popularity really started with the Palm Treo 600/Treo 650, and it's not hard to see why. The Treo offered a nice combination of a touch screen and full QWERTY keyboard, cell phone and organizer, and ease of use. However, the landscape has changed a lot since the days of the Treo 650, and Palm hasn't exactly been at the forefront of the movement.
