Do you want to shoot high-definition video?

I want to shoot HD (95 digital camcorders, starting at $115) Good high-def video usually looks much better than standard-def, especially if you'll be displaying it on an HDTV. It's more expensive, though, and editing HD video is more demanding of your hardware.
I don't need to shoot HD (299 digital camcorders, starting at $70) If you're shooting for the Web or to display on a 4:3-aspect TV, you may be better off spending the premium you'd pay for an HD camera on a better-quality SD model.
